So I was looking to build a simple booster for my bandmates acoustic guitar and instead of an LPB I threw together
a Muff Fuzz/ Little Muff (transistor versions) and made the diodes switchable.
This way I can use it as a clean boost or distortion.
Well it sounds too good to give it to my bandmate! Heck I like it better than the Big Muff. it's a nice smooth overdrive than can get pretty nasty.
I used silicone diodes, but I'm gonna try some Ge's for more breakup.
Anyone know what was in the originals?
Also there's a schem with all the other boosters than has the clipping diodes connected between the output and B+.
I'm guessing this one's wrong? It didn't work this way, so I connected the diodes between the ouput and ground (as on another schem) and it works this way.
