Anyone aware of a mod to the voodoo lab micro vibe to increase the speed? It doesn't get quite fast enough for me.

If it's of SMT type construction, it's hard to get at the part to do anything [the potlugs of course can be seen, but they're soldered to the PCB IIRC.
Otherwise, starting with a schematic or looking for an oscillating voltage [to identify the LFO output]..then, around that area is probably a capacitor, value changes would index the speed range.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

I've now read where some have replaced the R2 resistor (3.3k) with a jumper top increase the speed. Anyone here tried this? By jumper, I'm assuming they just mean a wire.

I got around to trying the replacement of the R2 resistor with a jumper. I was also able to record a quick sample of before/after the mod.

It definitely worked! It gets faster and comes closer to copping rotating speaker fast leslie-like tones at its top speed.

Here's the clip, you guys can let me know if you hear the difference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYdqAmX3UOs
