Crazy idea? for PCB´s?

Hi all!
i bought a laser printer and, now that i´m free to experiment with pcb transfer techniques, i want to ask you guys if this is a good idea or im going to end with my printer on flames..

I´m thinking of printing directly to a sheet of copper and glueing the sheet on a plexiglass board..then etch..

so my questions are.. am i gonna destroy my printer?
if not, what´s a good glue for the job?

Interesting question. I don't know if copper sheet will work, because toner held to a light sensitive drum by electrostatic force, then transferred to presumably insulating paper or plastic. I'm not sure the copper, being a good conductor, will hold the toner. It will for sure mess up the delicate heating timing it will take to melt the toner onto the sheet.

If it were me, I'd only try this on someone else's laser printer.

Yeah, the heat is going to spread a lot quicker through a sheet of copper than it would through a piece of paper.  You might do some pretty serious damage to your printer if you run a sheet of highly heat-conductive material through it!
