I picked up a Tektronix 2235 with a cart a few months ago. Got some probes and pdf operator/maintenance manuals for it. Haven't really used it much yet except to verify it does work. Probably going to build the simple oscillator at R.G.'s site next. Then build some resistive loads and check the bias on my amps, etc.

I'm thinking once it's up on my bench, at the very least it'll help in giving the impression that I know what I'm doing. Just like the white ESD lab coats we wear at work.

Cool!  Ameteur Boffins Ahoy!

If there was room for it in my tiny spare room / studio / science lab, I'd have mine up and running.

It's a very old *huge* beast of a thing.  It *does* work though - having being used once or twice to measure voltages / look at output waves of a FF clone.

Shiny new house (within the next month or so) will see me having some decent building space - and a more permanent set-up.

Might even get round to building a Les Paul Junior...
