ayayay!

Hopefully I got it right this time.  Oh and I also finally noticed the solder pad & trace buttons so I've used them on the drawing.  :)

Fire away boys!  Did I get it right?

Looks fine to me. Hope it makes your day!

Cheers.

I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

The one thing I notice is that on the schematic, pin 1 of VR1 isn't supposed to go to ground, but I suppose that doesn't matter much.  What does that trimmer do, anyway?

The trimmer adjusts the bias of Q2 to compensate for the variations in JFET cutoff voltages. See this excellent post by R.G. for the ins-and-outs of the Orange Squeezer. The trimpot is referenced as R7.

From my experience, the trimpot can be tricky. Set it too low and you get no output. Set it too high and you have a booster. Set it just right-- right in the middle of the crunchy part of the trimpot's rotation-- and you get a nice, smooth compression. It was very difficult to set with a single-turn trimmer, but was a piece of cake with a 25-turn trimmer.

Good feedback.   I built 2 like this and the trimmer seems to be fine.  It works on about 70% of the pot travel, and in that 70% there's quite a bit of useful variation on the attack so I believe I have it drawn correctly.  I guess it depends on what you call pin 1 really, but as long as one side is on the signal and the other side it wiper + opposing leg to ground, it doesn't really matter.   :)
