new/blue clipper switching

so the difference between the new and old clippers is the input stage and the output cap (at least from what i've been seeing).  for giggles i'm trying to make one board with a switchable output cap (dpdt toggle) and then a switchable input stage which.  i'd use a dpdt with the center lugs being circuit in and pin 3 of the TL072.  the other lugs would go to the input cap and the resistor just before pin 3.  the two input stages have different value resistors coming into the circuit from the power supply, but both use 100uf caps.  two questions then: can the two stages share the same 100uf cap? if so, should i change to a 3pdt and include power on one set of lugs?  if not, should i still go ahead and toggle the power with the signal?

  Hard to tell, but 'power switched with signal' is generally a no-no / not necessary / glitchy / noisy.
  Are you referring to sharing a power supply/bias voltage divider ?

if you mean do i intend to use the same boss power supply for both circuits, yes. if you look at the schematic here: http://www.runoffgroove.com/newclipper.html you'll see that all that's really different is the two resistors coming from 9v.  which i think is a voltage divider.
