Broken Echo Pedal That Actually Sounds Cool

Aparantly something happened to this guy's Dan Electro Echo Pedal and now it is sort of a frequency generator oscillator typey deal. Sounds kinda cool. Anyone have any guesses as to what happened to his pedal? I wish he would have played his guitar through it in the video. Anyhow thought I might post that since it was pretty interesting at least to me.

Nothing special. IMO, any decent delay pedal should be able to do that.

Cool  Really it Just sounds like virtually any delay pedal with the repeats/feedback turned up to the point where it self oscillates. Assuming that pedal has some sort of repeats pot the most likely thing is the pot is broken or the connection to ground has broke, so it's stuck on maximum.
