Last week I mentioned Ray Wilson's "Rayland" web-site, and the excellent projects, info, and software available there.

What I neglected to mention is that he has a generic PCB layout (posted in mirror image for PnP purposes) which he describes as being for the TL084, but obviously it can be for any chip of that pinout, whether TL064, 74, LM324, etc.  It provides a number of pads for kluging assorted projects and he uses it for a number of his.  Lots of nicely spaced pads for pots, caps, diodes, resistors, what-have-you, and the power lines are routed out to the edge with pads for decoupling caps.

You can find the layout at: http://atlas.csd.net/~rjwsoft/TL084multipcb.gif

Steve Daniels, if you are back from services, you may want to consider discussing the possibility of distributing such a board with Ray.  Not quite as flexible as the Small Bear pad-per-hole boards, but something of that quality with that layout would be a very handy tool for a multitude of op-amp-based projects and idea-chasing.
