Help! RAT refused using 9v DC adapter

Hi all,

For about 2 weeks i've been using my GGG Rat Rodent with battery power with no problems, until recently i tried to power it using BOSS MT2 9v adapter that laying around in the studio. The LED indicator is dead and so is the Rat when the 9v adapter is plugged in and back to normal after the adapter is plugged out. what happened? i checked the wiring and found no loose cables and im sure i followed the wiring from the GGG layout.

Is it because the BOSS adapter isn't compatible with the Rat? i also tried to power it using POD Floor 9v adapter and the same thing happened, and im sure both adapter are ok because i put it back to each effect and works just fine.

My guess is wrong polarity. Make sure that your wiring matches the DC adapter. It will have a diagram like this: (+)-(o-(-) That means that the center is negative and the outside is positive. Make sure that the positive from the DC jack is going to the positive of your circuit and if it isn't either use a different adapter or rewire the jack.
