What project do you consider a "must-build"?

Tubescreamer (at least a Son of Screamer)
Dr. Boogey (*THE* best high-gain SS pedal you can get)
BSIAB (I'm actually building a Dirty little secret, which is very similar)
Fuzz Face (It's too easy to not do it :))
A Power supply (Just finished a 9VAC, 9VDC, 12VDC supply with 14 connectors... it's awesome :))
A simple Looper

dubiousss

you should list all the pedals you have already built so we can fill in the gaps
but build: maestro (if you can find the chips)
rocktave
easyvibe
ross compressor

Morocotopo

Yeah, yeah, all those listed are great, but let me add another one:
ROG splitter/blend. Extremely useful for testing, trying, routing, buffering, inverting phase, blending, general noise making, prototyping, bothering your dog and/or cat, etc etc. Mine was one of my first builds and it´s been in use ever since in my eternal tinkering and building/modding/destroying activities.

I think my must build would be the semi permanent breadboard. Stick your breadboard on a slab of wood, add a metal bracket for jacks and pots, test lots of circuits without having to commit to a PCB or a vero.

Hi guys, just got my project slate all cleared, so now I am in the market for some more builds.  Thus I put the question to the forum:

What do you consider a "must-build" project?  To give you an idea of my situation, I have never built a Big Muff, Rat, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, Orange squeezer, etc.  I have built several projects, just not some of the more ubiqutous ones.  I plan on doing a Fuzz Face (Si) and an Orange Squeezer, but what other builds have you been particularly pleased with or what ones do you think no person should live without?  (If Adriano stops by, I know he will say Valvecaster :icon_biggrin:).

Anyway, I just want to see what some of you say are must-haves (I tried searching, but couldn't find a very similar topic) and maybe lots of people will find this discussion beneficial.

it all depends on what sound you're after and what amps and guitars you're using.
I love my Rangemaster, Fuzz Face, Big Muff and Tone Bender MKII, but I'm kinda old school.

Anything by Tim E or Doug H...esp the hwy89 (my overall fave) and tripple fuzz. Both have good tones and are tweakable for your setup.
Roger mayer axis is vol and tone knob turning fun, really needs low output single coils into a breaking up amp or tubescreamer takes some fiddling to find the "spot" do the tweak pot mod also.
My 2 cents FWIW
homegrown, family raised couch potatoes. temperament unsurpassed.

Modulation comes in many different flavors.
And, I'm a funny kind of guy...
