I need a tad bit more space in the box depthwise.  Any ideas / solutions other than the plexiglass spacer.  I've seen that one and like it.  But I think I'm looking for something else.

Thanks Y'all

Depending on what tools you have on hand, you could make a wooden spacer...if you need a quick fix, cut up a pen or something to use as suspension posts.

ayayay!

Take your backplate screw to the hardware store.  Match the thread with a longer screw.  Then get some platic tubing or even a straw...some kind of hollow cylinder... to use as a standoff.  Cut 4 identical lengths, and place the standoff between the plate & enclosure.

I'm thinking about a permanent solution.  I've got some 1290's that I just need to get about 1/8th to 3/16th's more out of.

Wood might be better than plexi

I don't know that an air gap would be desired, but the plastic tubing works great for supporting PCB's

I cut up an old mouse mat to make a sort of gasket between the backplate and the box.  You use a double or triple layer to increase the depth.  Added bonus: provides some shock absorbtion for the knees and ankles when stomping!!

Also, if you cut it to shape you use it to retain a battery or even a PCB if you were feeling adventurous.

A combo of a mouse pad with spacers to hold the height is a solution for sure for me.  As far as my pedals, I like uniqueness.  But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

::)

I think the best full time solution is plexi though.  I don't think I'd add the LED for light up.  But it seems that'd be a permanent solution.

I'm coming up with a JB Weld solution....

+1 for the illuminated plexi spacer - both functional, clever and beautiful, like my ideal woman to be honest. :icon_lol:
And you can screw into it quite easily too.

You have to make one.  Plexi glass cut to the correct size will do the job.  Search for the tutorial.
Try a little tenderness.

Ah, I thought that maybe there was one available that had the led built in already somewhere. Thanks!

I've seen pics of a few pedals with the plexiglass.

It looks neat
