LFO Math (Echo Base, Magnus Modulus, Etc.)

Could anyone explain the math involved in the LFO sections on the various modulation/chorus pedals? They all seem to follow a standard structure but after a whole lot of googling I can't find anything that spells out the direct relationship between component values and frequency & wave shape.

I have been recently looking into LFOs myself.

Here are a few links that I have found helpful. They are all regarding Triangle wave generators. Amongst these is a link to a book that gives the math for calculating freq and Amp. there is also a link that contains a little java ap showing the current flow in the circuit.

Ah, thanks for all the links! Looks like there are plenty of variations but between these examples (and an oscilloscope) I think I'll be able to wrap my head around it.
