Help!How to add hogs foot pulldown resistor?

Hi guys can anyone show me how to add pulldown resistor to GGG hogs foot schematic?i tried to add it before the input caps and after the output caps but still got nasty clik sound everytime i switched the effect on/off..so can anybody point me to the right direction here?
