Using an expression pedal to control a mix pot...what about voltage control?

Would the best way to do this be with a switch that selects between the internal pot and the jack for the expression pedal?

And, just for fun, does anyone have any recommendations for a circuit that would allow mixing between two signals via control voltages? I'm thinking lfos from Moogerfoogers or something like that.

Thanks!

That is cool!

My friend that wants me to build him a pedal wants a mid boost at the end and it looks like this chip can do that as well.

Thanks Processaurus!

Have you built anything with this chip yet?

I would like to have the following options:

1. With no pedal or control voltage connected, pot will control mix
2. With expression pedal connected, pedal will control mix
3. With control voltage connected, mix pot will attenuate control voltage

Here is what I've come up with so far:

The bottom jack would be normalled to 5.4V (the lm1036 wants 0-5.4V for control voltages) and then connected to a switch that would route the voltage to the ring of the top jack (exp pedal) or into the mix pot.

Does that make sense? Is there a better way to do this?

I'm pretty tired, so I'm sure I've overlooked something.
