Hello

I'd like to build my 'be all an end all' Muff. So, using this: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_bmp_wiring.pdf as a reference, what components make the biggest difference when changed to a different value ??

Thanks in advance

Best advice I got from here was to just build a BMP and enjoy it, no mods, parts pretty close to those specified. Hours and hours of fun.

Electric Warrior

right, but which one?  ;D
there's so many different versions..

The big muff I settled on was one with a 10uF input cap and a mid switch.

IMO, the mid switch is like having three different pedals, as I have it for scooped, flat and boosted mids. Fantastic and worth it.

LOL warrior.

I will be doing a mid switchy thing on my next build but I'm hoping to get breadboarding soon, then all these tweeks can be heard b4 I build.

I've already got a BM (which I agree, hours and hours of fun), but there's always something you would change. That's why we're members of this forum I suppose. I'm thinking about some of the options from here

I'll probably just end up switching a couple of caps and see what happens. I've got an anti-static bag with 100 x 2n5088's in it. I think I've got enough  ;)
