Magazine paper for transfers and photopaper.

Just to let anyone know, staples are now selling blank pages of this paper, it's for printing your own cheep magazines, flyers etc. Not to sure it will be better for transfers but I'll be giving it a bash.

I want to try photo papaer too, any recommends? should it be on laser or inkjet paper, paper weight?, I know it has to be high gloss.
Staples also do a high gloss paper, i presume it thin, too thin for photo's, is this the sort of stuff?
