I have 3 12ax7s left over from a re-tube and was wondering if I could build anything from them.

Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar.  If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.

What kind of voltage are you looking at?  You could do an Alembic F2B, a Mesa Bottlerocket, any number of cool preamps, a compressor, lots of stuff.  I have a bottlerocket on my to-do list.

The Alembic F2B is on my list ,I was gonna do it with upright tubes instead since I dont have a rack set-up.
I musta overlooked the Shaka tube,The regular version sounds so good,how does the tube version compare?
I'm no EE or even a tech,just a monkey with a soldering iron that can read,and follow instructions. ;D
