I've just rekindled my interest in a HV valve project i started some time ago, i had a few probs with the HV supply producing an audible whine, so i shelved the pedal for a while. I have now got back to it but its the enclosure layout i would like your opinions on, I can't decide  so don't want to drill the enclosure yet. Tell me what you think !

Here are 2 pics ive taken.

I like the look of the pots circled around the valve, but on the other hand if i had the tone pots in a line i could mount everything on a pcb.

Or suggest something different ?
Thanks

I like the circular positioning of knobs. The other way has been done a lot and is kinda boring.

Classy looking pedal...

Thanks for the input, you have all confirmed what i though, so the circular one it is. Now all i have to do is finish off the circuit.  ;D

I got them from a guy on ebay who trades in china, very fast service. I have only used 2 tiers from it, but they come 3 tiers high.  You can have a look at them here, not cheap though.
