Interesting noise reduction by Trace Elliott

We should be on a flight back to England from Spain but my wife is unwell and had to postpone until tomorrow. Whilst trawling through a rar of Trace Elliott service manuals on a memory stick, I came accross the noise reduction included in this unit which is quite interesting.

Could the noise reduction ciruitry be converted to auto wah duties I wonder?

interesting indeed...looks like a couple of stages with a couple different techniques using phase cancellation. I'm gonna have to look this one over a little more carefully.

The diode arrangement is interesting. I guess it could be converted in a guitar limiter.
