Hello guys!

Do you think it's possible to take the preamp of the roland 201 schematic to build preamp pedal:

Like the CLINCH FX EP-PRE

or the Xotic EP Booster

who use the preamp section of an echoplex.

I don't see why you want to make life so complicated for yourself. The Rolands like most Rolands... complicated, and the two bottom links go to copies of the echoplex. Why not just do the echoplex preamp and use ordinary transistors. The trickiest parts would be the inductors used on the collector output and the emitter biasing.

I don't suppose you even need the bias trap on the collector with the 18mH and the 90-400pf adjustable cap but maybe that where all the tone shaping you are after is coming from. That last transistor, I think, may be what you're after because theres a whole bunch of tone being played with in there. Maybe those big air coil adjustable caps off old radios are what will give you 90-400pf and that sitting on top of a box will be very mojo inspiring.
Monkey see, monkey do.

From the input to the output is only the parts around Q 5 or am I mistaken ?

Yeah, I guess the EP booster pedals are just the bits round Q5, probably up to the record level pot using that as the volume pot.
On the RE201 the same sort of thing would be the bit round Q11.
