Make a 5K reverse log pot from a 10K linear?

After reading the Secret life of Pots, great article by the way. It seems possible to make a reverse log pot from. But, I'm a little confused as to how to choose the pot and the resister. My guess is to use a a 10K linear pot with a 10K resister across pins 1 and 3?
