Hi. Just put together a voltage doubler cirquit from this layout:

I used the iC7660S, but I didn´t have the shottky diodes, so I used 1n4001´s.
Are these diodes the reason that I am only getting 13-14 volts out of this.....I need more  :-\

Thanks

Got any 1n4148? Try them. Or try adding another doubler stage or more.

Yeah I have those. i´ll give it a try.
Thanks a lot:)

hmm. didn´t work. I´ll try to add more stages then

What is the voltage of your power supply?  The 1n400x series diodes have a larger forward drop than the schottky diodes, so that is partly why you are getting so little voltage.  Rick is right, go with another gain stage and then regulate down if you need an exact voltage.  Just make sure all of your components are rated right, e.g., don't use 16V caps.

The power supply is 9v. I need the charge pump to deliver 18 volts for my ada flanger clone. The flanger has a 15 volt regulator on board, so I guess another stage will be fine, since it will be regulated down to 15 anyways.
