Didn't see this til now.

Good work.

Have you considered a "harmonica" that's held in the teeth and lets pressure on various places around the periphery of the tooth edges either switch things or cause musical notes to happen? The electrical safety aspects of this could be daunting, as you'd have to really do some fancy isolation just in case, but the human tongue has a lot of facility for moving from place to place.

Making teeth into a covert switch/keyboard is an old sci-fi concept, although I did always wonder what happened when they accidentally bit into an olive pit.  :icon_biggrin:

I did a design of a remote "footswitcher" for a guy who had full use of his arms and hands to play guitar but could not hit real footswitches. The switch activators were on a small board designed to be velcro'ed to the guitar so that a dexterous whap on a botton would change effects. Been a while for that one.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

great thread guys.

i have a disabled wheelchair bound step-grand daughter

unfortunately she cannot speak or walk..but she responds to noise /music etc...she was born with cmv

its a real shame, she's a really pretty girl.

i was thinking of making her some kind of ldr synth perhaps....six occilators from a 74hc14...

so she can wave her hand over it n stuff..and turn knobs etc...got my chips today...will definately mess with this ...

seems simple enough..great old hawkind type sounds too...
