Dr Boogey issue - Q5 voltages and volume pot

Anyone know what are some generally correct voltages for Q5?  Obviously the Drain is the supply voltage and the Gate is set by Trim 4.  I have 8.8V for the Drain and 5.1 for the Gate.  My Source reads 5.8V.  My tonestack seems to work right based on the many comments questioning its effectivenes but this voltage reading is suspect to me.

Also, my volume pot seems to not be operational.  Looking at the schematic it looks like a simple voltage divider.  I assume it should be go from zero volume to full.....Is that correct??  Mine almost seems like full volume all the way through.  Perhaps a little boost at full rotation.  checked for shorts on the pot and double checked my wiring.  It all looks good.

i've made this stompbox, it works perferct, i've made changes from gosmarkov layout , i added a 4x12 marshall cab sim filter too!

Vol pot is efficient,  100k pot , as for Q5 set it at 4.5v !  supposed you plug a 9v PS in,  mine is 18v
