Can this be fixed?

A buddy just gave me a pedal that's been burnt. He said he thinks he plugged in the wrong power supply and the unit smoked. I took the pedal apart and found a black burnt spot on the back of the green board. I don't know how to describe these things or what they are called, but the other side of the burn mark has a tiny black little can mounted on a squiggly wire, and the wire is burnt as well. It's an Ibanez synth wah pedal, and the burnt part is between two pots, though not necessarily connected to either.

Is this worth bringing in somewhere or to someone to fix it? I'm new at this and new here, so not sure how to explain or post pics yet. If I can fix it I get to keep it, but not sure if it will ever work again.

Thanks.

Has it got a model number? Googling for ibanez synth wah seems to show that only Digitech make a pedal that's actually called that.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

my guess its a cap or a resistor. Both can be relpaced. But even after you replace the parts there maybe something else burnt too. A picture would really help in this case.

It is a digitech, my bad. I just bought an Ibanez tube screamer and got confused.

How to you post pics here? Maybe I need a certain # of posts? I'll take a pic of the board.
