1 spot powering a 2 9V pedal?

  Try a max1044 or some other voltage doubling chip/circuit.

The 1-Spot is a single 9v output that can be shared by daisy chaining. I think you would need two 1-spots or a power supply with multiple isolated outputs (like the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power Plus or Spyder)
