big muff low volume issue

Hi just trying to fix my NYC RE ISSUE big muff, the volume when the pedal is engaged is mega low, you can still here that its fuzz but its just so quite can anyone point out what this could be at a guess, thanks

I had the same problem after I installed a boss-type dc socket. After a lengthy debugging, it turned out that I damaged the volume potentiometer while trying to pull out the knobs. 

Hence, my suggestion is to check the volume potentiometer first.

 Nope, I can only guess.
  Somethings are touchy where they shouldn't, or not connected where they should, or some other malfunction.
 Audio probe is where I'd take it, right after measuring some voltages.
 Hafta recommend following the "Debugging" sticky thread instructions completely, that tends to allow narrowing down and identifying problems to where they're closely followed by solutions.
