Fixing a Boss RC-20 Looper?

Anyone ever fixed one? Someone over on talkbass is selling a Loop Station RC-20 for cheap. He says that it passes some signal and that the LED's do light up but not necessarily as they should. Not a lot of info, I know. I'm just trying to figure out if this is something I want to try and take on. Any thoughts? I know that these are prone to break, I'm just not sure how easy the fix is.
