Maestro FSH1 without filter?

I like the Sample Hold section of this pedal. Could it be isolated from the rest of the effect? It would be nice to have it in a smaller enclosure.
Is there a layout for a Sample Hold only?

I looked for one for a long time and wasn't successful.  I ended up building this and I quite like the stock version of it, though there is some noise that I haven't yet put the grunt work into getting rid of.
