Hi forummers, i've got an old proel stereo vol pedal that i would like to mod to vol/exp via toggle switches , something like what this TGP member has done here:

here's a pic of the guts:

obviously the vp jr's board is a little different and that's whats holding me back..can anyone help? Also if there's a better method than a dpdt toggle and 3pdt true bypass option pls feel free to share it! Thanks guys!

Oooooo I just thought of something!  Didn't look at your link, but the exp pedals I've been looking at use TRS output with each lug of the jack connected to one lug of the pot - tip = wiper, ring = top/input lug, sleeve = bottom/ground.

Now, a passive volume pedal has two TS jacks connected to the pot such that OutTip=wiper, InTip=top, bothSleeve=bottom.

So I think you could use a TRS>dual TS "insert" cable.  Plug the "tip" TS plug into the output, the other to the input, and...

Don't know if that helps you, but it is applicable to my situation.  Thanks for the inspiration!
