Need to replace the pots in my franenstrat. Looking for 250k and 500k audio push push pot/switches. Any recommendations?
An oxymoron - clean transistor boost.

I am probably going to end up going with the push pull from SB. But, I am looking first for push push switches. I have found some but they run 10+ bucks. As usual I am surprised by what is hard to find.

I don't like push/push because I had one break down over time - more complicated mechanism than push/pull.

ALLPARTS has push/pull and push/push pots in all the standard guitar values.

I'd also suggest push/pull, just for the reliability issue.

Unfortunately, guitars often require a longer bushing than cast aluminum chassis. By all means try the push-pull style that I have; you can return unsoldered if they don't fit. But you may have to pay the stupid prices at the guitar specialty-parts places until SBE gets into guitar pots. Could happen, but not tomorrow...we would need more space.

If you want something easier to use than push/pull, just put in a hole for a toggle or button switch. If you're on a strat, that should be easy to install, and toggle switches are easier to wire than pot switches.

Also, if you're modding a strat and you're just going through a plastic pickguard, you shouldn't need the longer bushing. But if you're going through wood, you do need the specialized guitar pots most of the time.
