Hello Everyone...

I've got a Whipple inductor and a wah shell. Has anyone any ideas as to what type of wah I should put it in ??

I'm ashamed to say I've never really owned a wah, other than a Schaller with a great big DPDT switch at the front that I sold not long after I bought it, and a Morley fuzz wah that I also sold quicker than the Schaller. Not long after this, I moved to multi-effects, and I must admit, some of the wah's included in these were pretty good. Anyway, the multi-effects are no more and I need to fill the wah void.

I'm not adverse to extra switches, pots and mods either, so let your wah-fuelled fantasies run free. It's quite a big enclosure, so I've got room.

Thanks in advance.

The standard Dunlop gcb-95 may not sound that good but it's easy to mod to your liking.

plus some other components you can build it yourself and add all the extra features you want, like to inductors, different sweep caps and lots of stuff.

I've just seen the Vox Clyde McCoy Wah project on Fuzz Central. That looks just about perfect !!

Tonepad.com has a good pcb-layout, too. (But I´d recomment to remove the input buffer and the Wah/Vol-switch).
You can do some of the well known mods directly on the board.
If you add solder pads for one extra resistor, you could use the improved output buffer circuit that Jack Orman posted in his blog (www.muzique.com ...).
