so heres the deal, i broke a capacitor while chaning the enclosure for my BSIAB II. Its C14 in the diagram, a .0022uF film capacitor.  my question is, does anyone know of a different capacitor i could put in its place that would work? .0022uF capacitors i guess aren't a common thing in radio shack so i want to know of a good subsitute.

heres the diagram

If you didn't find a .002uF film cap, just use a ceramic. They are a common thing here, só I think you can find it anywhere :icon_twisted:.

If you've got them, you can use two 4.7nF in series or two 1nF in parallel.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

C14 is part of two lo-pass filters in series that cuts highs above 7KHz.. without it you'd get a bit more highs back.. try the pedal without it and see if you like the sound, if you do, you can leave C14 out. If you leave it out, might as well replace R18 with a jumper. If you don't like how it sounds without C14, you have other options: Change R18 to 1K & C14 to 0.022uF (22nF), or, R18 to 100 ohms & C14 to 0.22uF (220nF). You'll still get the same cut-off frequency as with the 10K/0.0022uF (2.2nF) combo.
