Need suggestions on filling this box

So I've got this box that I want to put two effects in, the problem is that I can't really decide on what should go in it.  I want to go with two effects that work well on their own as well as together so naturally I was thinking a fuzz face/boost combo but that's been done to death.  You guys got any interesting suggestions?  The box is about 6"x7" so there's plenty of room.  Here it is-


It looks like real wood but it's just cheap particle board stuff, looks nice though.

Compressor and Overdrive. Also been done to death, but I'm thinking about doing that pairing in an 1790ns.

Ross and TS is a common one. You could also do an Orange Squeezer or Muff, or Fuzz Face, or Rat, or...

You could do a modulation box, trem and phase, or flange, or vibe.

I still vote Comp and OD.

2 Dr. Boogies.  12 pots.  2 Channels of rock!  Use one foot switch to A/B the channels and the other to Bypass the effects.  I'm thinking of making something similar myself, I have one channel, need to decide if I will make the second though.  I was thinking of trying to make the second the "vintage" high gain rather than the modern high gain.

That is definitely my bag and I love this idea.  I would like to hear more ideas if anyone's got anyone else has one.

I want to see something like a seek wah into a blue box. I've no idea what it would sound like, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been done to death. There's the added bonus of getting to make full use of the box and really play with the layout of the leds and such.

Make sure you post pics whatever you do, that box is nice. Reminds me of John Lyons' wooden enclosures - I wouldn't have guessed particleboard.

My vote would also include the Blue Box, but I'd do a Blue Box into a Big Muff Pi, for proper rich synthy clipping. Or a Blue Box into an envelope filter, a dead resonant vocal one.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.  I think I'm gonna go with the Blue box/Uglyface combo.  It's definitely unorthodox and I've already got a blue box pcb etched.
