I want to run tw. JFET fetzer valves with a 3 band fender tone stack through a cab sim. I use the bulldog sim right now but its a little weird with the highs. I was thinkin the condor cab sim but i dont have some of the caps. i do have the parts for the marshall cab sim, but doesnt this take a hot input from hot tubes???

Please make us clear on wat you intend to build condor cabsim with Marshall's mod

or Jim Rademer's Masrshall cabsim.

Both require just a 9v battery for power.

I guess its the latter. Im using this schem:

i still havent made a pcb yet. I do everything point to point or pad per hole. I havent the tools for drilling aluminum much less the chemicals for etching that stuff. And im so sloppy with things id surely melt one of my eyeballs out or somethin.

But thanks, ill run it off 9v

although im interested in seeing the fender can response curve compared to the marshall, the condor and the bulldog.

I think you can use a tube preamp/pedal before it.

See the soundclips.

Bancika used Tube Reactor (dirty) before it, which is tube preamp.

uGh i built the marshall sim in it and its...eh. Theres still un natural break up and the hairiness sounds even more unnatural. Maybe its the PA im using. It only has low and high controls for each channel. The bulldog sounded great for how simple it is.

I put a 100k trim instead of the 47k rrsistor between pins 2 and 1 of op amp one. I also used a 1 meg trimmer at the output and a 10uf tant output cap AFTER(?) the trimmer.

Prolly shoulda built the fender cab sim. I only just found it. But im starting to think i wont really get the results i imagined anyway.

Would a tube preamp running on a 12v  1.2A transformer with all the other stuff i got going on into the tda2003 amp be possible?? Thr two fetzer stages and the cab sim line out are just additions to a practice amp.
