Vintage EHX Electric Mistress 18V wiring help

Hello,

i have a vintage 18V Electric Mistress with a true bypass wired switch. As soon as i want to turn it off there's no sound coming out.
The Reticon chip works fine, i really suspect it's a wiring issue.

Any help appreciated.

What a shame: battery connector worn out, sometimes it worked, sometimes not.
