Circuit Simulator Software

OK I read a lot of you guys talking about Circuit Simulator Softwares.

I found something about that in the archives but it's dated 2002

I was wondering? Since I know nothing about them.....What would be a good one for newbies like me?........ah yha.........also needs to be free!

How do you use them?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
