Hi everbody. I hope you guys can help me. I Want to modify my Marshall Guvnor pedal. I don't know if its Korean or UK made but it get all red stripes if that's helpful. No tag on the battery cover either.

Anyway here's the schematic which i think is the same for the UK and Korean version. http://www.mif.pg.gda.pl/homepages/tom/files/guvnor.gif

Anyway to make it more suitable for bassguitar?

Try changing C8 to 1uF. You could also use a 0.068uF, might a bit sound cleaner. Also, change C1 to a 0.1uF
You can also experiment with the value of R2. This will alter the EQ range. Maybe a 25K trimpot would be good so you can literally dial in the spot you like.

Ok. Thanks. Should i increase or decrease the value of R2 to get lower eq range suitable for bass?

What do you think of changing C5? I dont understand what 9n6 means but i think it is a 0.01 UF. How do you read does codes anyway?

I think you would decrease R2, but I'm not 100% positive on that. "9n6" is a weird marking, never seen that one before. That would mean it's a 9.6nF, or 0.0096uF, which is essentially a 0.01uF cap.

9.6 nf could it be. Weird. Thanks for the answer

If anyone now if i should decrease or increase the R2 i would appreciate an answer.
