Anyone tried to mod a Boss CS-3 to use it with bass?

Hello,

I just got a Boss CS-3 at a very good price.

Searching the forum, I've found Sava's mods (thank you!): http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=58324.0.

Anyway, it seems that it has some problems with the hiss.

Anyone tried to mod it for bass and/or to reduce the hiss?
