Looking to build a creamy/smooth low gain OD pedal and could use some ideas from all you seasoned vets! I usually like to have a three pot tone stack but any suggestions will be appreciated! I have a Zendrive, Blues Driver, and a Nobels ODS and a BYOC OD2 but would like to try my hand at something else.
Thanks!

In past, many people have recommended the Blue Magic.

I guess I didn't read the post. It doesn't fit your requirements, but everyone should have a Crank.

LTD Silver? I'm building one of those and the Blue Magic in the future, should be able to see which I like more - but that doesn't help you now...

Why not build something you don't have? Judging by your overdrive collection, you might be a good candidate for a Fuzz Face! I use mine a lot.

Actually I'm not to much into fuzz. I would like to find a vero layout or pc board for a LTD Silver or Blue Magic? Anyone?

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Blue Magic is nice.

LTD is here somewhere, just do a search.

I made the Klon, and very nice clean boost, and good low distortion. Or even Infinity.

I made most of the ones you mentioned that you made, and to me there is not to much difference in most of them. Since most are based on the TS. Might want to try different chips, or clipping stages in the ones you already have. Or even adding different tonestacks. I added the BMP (modified with middle control) to a TS I built. That really changed things. Now trying a switch to switch between different clipping stages.

For an updated LTD pcb contact Madbean... PM him and I'm sure he'll send you a link for a large number of PCB's available from him.

I don't know of many (any?) low gain OD pedals with a 3 stack tone but... my suggestions nonetheless...

Marshall Bluesbreaker
Marhshall Guvnor (does have 3 tone stack, but not "low gain" per se)
Lovepedal Eternity (regular or burst Flavor)
many TS9/808 clones (I like my Keeley modded one), Maxon OD 808
Crowther Hot Cake

Good Luck!

I have the files for the LTD if you do not hear from Brian?

And for a lot of other distortion/OD pedals.

John Lyons can get you an LTD board too. He does very nice work and is very nicely priced.

The Guv'nor is quite a good suggestion really-They're not exactly filthy !

Hey guys, thanks for the plug. I put in a word to sjturbo. :) Not sure if the project file for the LTD is still linked here, but I'll put it back up for anyone else who wants it.
