I'm interested in building a power attenuator for my 100W Ampeg V4B.   I'd love to be able to push it to breakup without rattling the walls of all my neighbors.
Any suggestions or schems?

Weber speakers sells attenuator kits, but a powerful and clean as V4s are, you're going to have a hell of a time pushing that thing to break-up in distortion!

I have built one using an L-pad from partsexpress.  But this method means using an L-Pad with a doubled wattage increase.  This would mean you would need a 200 watt L-Pad, and I don't think I have ever seen one that large.
