How to bypass the flipflop Boss switch...

Hey gang... just picked up a Boss CE-5 off of craigslist, listed as not working... Missing jacks. I replaced the jacks and HEY!, it doesn't quite work. The sound is the same, on or off. The LED does come on, but none of the controls have any affect on the sound, so I was thinking that maybe the flipflop circuit is not working. Is there a simple way to bypass the switching circuit? Even if it's just a jumper, to determine if the circuit is fine and the switch is Kaput? I have checked voltages at different points on the board, and I know the circuit is getting power. I can give you readings from where ever you need, if it will help. Thanks in advance!
