Hi, i just bought a standard Dunlop Fuzz Face (the red one) and two NOS BC109C's.
So to change the "NKT"275"'s to the BC109C's, the only thing i have to do is just to remember that the emitter and collector is upside down ..... Right ?

No

You'd also need to reverse the polarity of any of the electrolytic capacitors.

Even if you did do this - firstly, you're likely to run into problems and, secondly, i'm not really sure why you would want to do this. Most people would want to keep the germanium transistors.

Caps polarity and change 470 resistor to 330

Well then it was good to ask you guys first after all!
About the cap's, do i just "turn" them around ?
I just always loved the silicon fuzz like the Jimi "Signature" thing.

Just read a bunch of schematics and now i see what you mean!
But thank you!

if you like Jimi sound you may need to make RM mod FF:
Change 470R to 1k
            8k2 to 18k
            B1k to B2k

Keysershades

I already did, exept i'm using a 820R in series with the volume pot instead of the 2k pot (it's cheaper and i heard that it sounds better).

I thought the 2K was for the Fuzz pot... ???
Pagan and happy!

Keysershades

Your right ! Don't know how i missed that.
Thanks alot !
