Jumbo Tonebender / Big Muff similarities

Looking at how similar the Big Muff and Jumbo Tonebender are, would it be possible to build a Jumbo Tonebender using, say, a GGG Big Muff kit?

I know how to read schematics and how to solder, the knowledge I'm missing is the PCB/layout part. The circuits certainly look pretty similar (although obviously they're different enough to make a totally different sound). Any expert insight would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, just leave out the diodes in the first clipping stage (Q2).
That's the main difference
Just compare the schematics and change the parts as necessary.
They are numbered in the GGG schematic and layout I think.

You would think I would have been smart enough to find that on my own.

Well, thanks for pointing me towards that PCB!

You can even convert current production muffs to JTB's!

Someone done a bit of a tutorial on it:

NOTE: this is NOT the current production Big muff, these stopped being mad ein 2007 and the PCB layout of the 2008 version(current) is quite different so you'll have to work it out....whoever uses this link.
