I recieved my new breadboard yeterday from an order online.
Its the same one most of you use ,with the dual busses on the sides 1580 tie points and 3 binding posts.
I must say I wish I would have bought one a long time ago.
I have two of the RS breadboards I bought when they closed them out for 5$ a piece and they are crap compared to my new one.
The RS ones are very hard to get leads into and only have one buss per side.
Anyway I see these everywhere for sale online for different prices.
Next time I will buy mine from here >http://web-tronics.com/index.html
As they have the best prices I have seen,I got mine at All Electronics and had to buy the jumper kit seperate.
Oh well if all your buying is a breadboard or PCB material,I would use webtronics.

EDIT actually IDK what he tie point of the RS boards are ,both of them together are smaller than my new one.

They are RS 300 experimenter boards.

I guess the point of this thread was just,      DONT BUY BREADBOARDS AT RADIO SHACK EVER  !!!.
Aside from the fact my local RS is awful...
So I buy everything on-line now and save alot of money ,get better quality/service at the same time.
And if I was buying one over again I would get it at webtronics instead of allelectronics unless I was already getting stuff from AE.

Looks like a good price!  I have one of them that was a hand-me-down from a buddy, and it's been my #1 board, outlives ALL the RS ones that I've had!  Thanks for the link.

The three RadioShack breadboards I've had for several years are holding up fine.  Well, I melted the plastic of one them a bit with a chip amp a few years back, so there are four rows I don't use.  That was my fault, though.
