it says unverified, but his stuff tends to be reliable right? if anyone has built it then just post below. Just so i know that its straight forward and there are no sneeky little changes i wont see coming.

Thanks

OH! ME ME ME! :icon_cool:

Worked! Also did the OCD mod with the mosfets, and some other mods suggested in the schematics.

Have fun... .

Thanks for the reply :), what were the mods like and what Mosfets did you use? are they worth doing?

The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)

He suggests a few in the schematic file. I made R5 switchable between the original value and 2k2 ohms. The lower value will let the op amp clip on it's own. Then I also put in a switch between different clipping combination. One is a mix of si and ge diodes, the other uses mosfets, think it was 2n7000 or IRF510 or 520, can't remember which. I sure learned a bunch! And it's great to hear the difference between these types of clippings, the rat-ish opamp clipping vs. only the diodes/mosfets, and the tranny vs diode combination.

sweet, what kind of switch did you use? rottary? or toggle? ill defos do the 2.2 mod for the op amp clipping as its too easy not to. looking forward to this build. Board is all populated so just waiting for the case to dry. will post in the pics thread when done.

anyone got any pics of theirs for inspiration?  8)
