adding volume pot to dwarfcraft double thumping squaresnakes?

ok, not sure if this is the right place to put this question and i thought i'd start here for some thoughts, before asking Aen (@ dwarfcraft...).

i have a dwarfcraft double thumping squaresnakes pedal, which is 3 squarewave oscillators... eventhough its great i think its too loud and it doesn't have an output volume control to attenuate the source (i'm also wanting to run this into a Line6 DL-4 Delay Modeller).

i'd either like to add an output volume pot into the pedal or make a seperate volume controller.  main question is what value pot should i use, my thinking is that this particular pedal is much like a keyboard (an active device with its own power and source input) and thus would work best with a 25k pot? (i.e. Ernie Ball's 25kohm volume pedal for active devices) or should i go with a larger, say 250k pot (similar to an Ernie Ball 250K Volume Pedal for passive devices) which in theory would provide a much better sweep/control of the complete volume range?

thanks...

The value doesn't have anything to do with the sweep range. Any value pot wired as a voltage divider (output of the circuit to outside lug, other outside lug to ground, wiper to output jack) will sweep from max volume to silence. The value has to do with the output impedance. 25k is probably fine.
