Hi,

this might be what you're after, if not there are aby's without leds, stereo jacks on Brians site:

That link is for an ABY splitter, not a Dual ABY FX loop.  I'm not sure this can be done with 3pdts alone; the "both" function is the tough part.  You might have to use relays- let me think/check

I just noticed; this has no bypass switch- which means you can't ever bypass the loops. Is that what you want?  What exactly do you want this to do?

I just doodled this up, and I think it will do what you want.  There is no way to completely bypass this thing; you'd have to add an extra switch for that.  You can use the extra pole on each switch to add what ever status LEDs you want

In "Y" mode this is a passive signal splitter, which is never the best thing for your tone.  You might want to consider buffering the output.

how do i wire the led?

markeebee

It'd be about a billion times easier if you just have an on/off for each loop.  You could build it so that it's easy to hit both buttons at the same time for 'both on' or 'change loop'.  Unless you have pixie feet.

Other than that, I think we're in the world of flip flops or relays or inverse parallel transistors.

You wire it up just like any other LED on any other switch.  If you're unsure how that is done, you might want to go with something a little more basic, because although I think it will actually work as I have it drawn, Mark is right, this isn't exactly the simplest setup.

The diagram that phil posted will show how to wire LEDs, even though it's for an ABY not a Looper.  Basically the center pole is grounded and the led hooks to a corresponding pole and then to positive voltage (don't forget to use a current limiting resisitor) .  Which pole?  Both? It depends what you want the LED to indicate.   It's up to you- wire an LED where you want one to go.  If you understand how the switch works, then you will know how to wire the LEDs the way you want.

Sorry I can't be more clear and just spell it out, but it's a lengthy explanation and there's a lot of info available.  Try "searching" or check the wiki:  http://www.diystompboxes.com/wiki/index.php?title=DIY_FAQ#TRUE_BYPASS_AND_SWITCHING

D'oh!  Sorry about that, should've read the post a bit closer.  I'm like the kid that shoots his/her had up into
the air in class, only to go red and yell out a random answer   ;D

another help please...

could someone please help or give me a wiring diagram on how to put the Resistors, LED, and Power Socket

here's what i'm planning (Please refer to the pictures):

1.) LED for "A/B Switch" which should be like when i press the a/b button, the Green LED goes on which indicates it's in loop B then when pressed again, Yellow LED is turned ON and activates Loop A

2.) LED for "Both Switch" which when i press is that it Red LED turns on and activates both loops, and when pressed again light turns off.

here's the diagram which i needs to add details on LED, resistor, battery and power wirings.

thanks in advance!.
