Huminator question

hey guys i was just wondering...
if the Beavis Audio Research Huminator would work on a 12 volt circuit?

my current power set-up for my pedals is....

Power supply 12v >>> 12v to 9v converter box


now what i want is.....

Power supply 12v >>> Huminator >>> 12v to 9v converter box

could this be OK?

what's the converter box? in case it is lm317-7809 based there should be no need for the huminator before it!

i'm not sure what's inside it though i'm not the one who made it. i just bought it from someone, and the case is glued very well,.

I'm quite positive you don't need that thing as you have described it.As Marco wrought that thing that converts your 12V to 9V contains all you need in hum canceling way. But.......
If you still want to build it and place it where you have put it that's OK. Then you have a gadget you can use in the future in a setup without the converter box also
