Hi there.

http://mentol.dk/diy/upload/pedalsetup.pdf
I have some questions about my pedal chain.
I want to lead my western and my gibson through the pedal chain and then only lead the western to the DI and the gibson to the amp.
I have tried drawing (in Word, pretty difficult) the setup using a switch box with an Omron 9VDC relay.
I can't figure out if I need some a buffer inside my switchbox

I have the Korg DT-10 tuner in the chain and I can't figure out if it works like a buffer?

Can't see anything on the page. Sorry

I can see the pdf but my question is - do you already have this setup, or are you planning on building the ab/ab box?

If you already have the setup, then why not just play it and if it is sucking tone, then worry about whether you need a buffer or not?

I don't have this setup yet. I'm planning to build it...

I'm not sure how the omron relay works, but if it's like a DPDT mechanical switch, what that setup will do will be to connect the electric, through the pedals, and then to the amp in the other, and then connect the electric, to the acoustic, and the amp to the DI. If you want to connect the electric to the amp with the pedals inbetween, and the acoustic to the DI with the pedals in between, but never have the acoustic go to the amp, or the electric go to the DI than there's a different way to set it up.

I'm not %100 sure about how to set it up, and I have no ability to draw it out for you right now, but I'm certain that what you want to do is possible, just not the way you're suggesting.
